The AYO Scaling Africa Series

AYO Technology Solutions collaborated with the SA Innovation Summit to present the first ever, Scaling Africa Series.

This challenge aimed to empower South Africa’s Technopreneurs who are disrupting the ecosystem with novel ways to solve business and everyday needs within their communities.

Five remarkable Series A start-ups were identified and battled it out in a virtual pitching den to take home the grand prize and scale into Africa.

Memeza won first place in the AYO Scaling Africa Series and are now looking forward to work with AYO on potential investment for growth. Thank you SA Innovation Summit and AYO for this wonderful opportunity!

African Business Heroes

Jack Ma Foundation and Alibaba Foundation is the sponsors of the African Business Heroes Competition.

ABH aims to identify, support and inspire the next generation of African entrepreneurs who are making a difference in their local communities, working to solve the most pressing problems, and building a more sustainable and inclusive economy for the future.

The initiative aims to be as inclusive as possible. Memeza was chosen out of 12 000 participants as a top 50 African Business Heroe!
