Founder and Director
A Software Developer turned Social Entrepreneur, Thuli graduated from Rhodes University with a BSC Computer Science/Information Systems degree. In 2012 she graduated from UNISA with Honours Information Systems.
She has been a victim of crime countless times; in March 2012 a family member was brutally attacked and robbed of everything in her house.
Since then Thuli has vowed to give all her time to fighting crime and violence against Woman and Children in South Africa. In October 2012, she founded MeMeZa Shout Crime Prevention.
ELMARIE PEREIRA
CEO and CO-Founder
Corporate Telecommunications Executive.
Elmarie has over 14 years’ experience managing operations and related sales channels, with expertise in developing client services and streamlining delivery of products/services.
Elmarie also lost her sister to
Gender Based Violence (GBV) which motivated her to team up with MeMeZa through the Vodacom Change the World programme.
NOMA MOSANA
HR and Finance Manager
Noma takes care of all HR, Finance and Office Administration requirements, including being the top liaison between MeMeZa and our outsourced financial and legal partners, about 10 years’ experience running a business.
Thami Molefe
Operational Manager
With over 14 years of experience working with many companies in sales management, Thami joined MeMeZa in 2012 and has never looked back to fight crime across communities in SA.
From being a community liaison rep to now being our Operations Manager he continues to grow with company.
JOHN FOURIE
Manager - Memeza Western Cape
John currently heads up the MeMeZa Western Cape branch and comes with 24 years of teaching experience and entered the IT industry as a systems and support engineer for the last 16 years.
He is a community activist and keen that an integrated community systems infrastructure be built, that would form the backbone of community safety programs, that are governed by communities themselves.
Tlhogi Ngcobo
Programme Manager & Corporate Fundraiser
A Data Analytics Expert who joined Memeza in 2021 as a Programme Manager with a focus on the Liquor Industry Projects. Tlhogi attained her Master’s Qualification in Informatics from the Univ of Pta in 2013.
Working in diverse industries, the vast experience and knowledge gained in her leadership roles in corporate and an entrepreneur, makes her a well-rounded leader with the capability to manage large teams and multiple projects simultaneously.
MPHO MOLEKOA
Installer/SMD
Mpho joined Memeza in July 2017 as an Installer and Surface Mount Device (SMD) technician in our Manufacturing department.
THULANI MATHEBULA
Installation Technician
Thulane Mathebula, joined memeza in 2018 as part of our home alarms manufacturing and tracking devices installation technician.
He obtained a diploma in electrical engineering, with over 5 years’ experience in the electronic manufacturing industry.
LEONARD MABULA
IT
Leonard joined memeza in 2019 as part of the Vodacom Internship Programme.
He has the ability to think out of the box, is self-motivated and he's able to lead.
Leonard obtained a diploma in Information Technology Management with over 4 years' experience in the IT industry.
LUCY MAKALIMA
CSI (Corporate Social Investment) and Fundraising
Lucy Makalima takes care of all the CSI Applications and Fundraising. A very ambitious person who is also determined to further her studies through UNISA.

BOTSHELO MOLORO
IT Intern
Botshelo has trained and studied as a Network technician.
He has completed an MCSA Certificate with Vodacom ICT youth development and plans to become a developer and Animation Graphics developer.
WILSON RALEKGOKGO
IT Intern
Wilson was referred to MeMeZa through the Vodacom foundation. He completed IT Technical Support and Maintenance, Cybersecurity, IOT, MCSA 740 through Cisco and Vodacom Learnership.
He also wants to study further in Data Analysis and Applications Development with aspirations of developing his own IoT systems and Applications.
HAPPY MALULEKA
Technical Trainer and Installer
Happy is a Technical Trainer and Installer for Memeza.
Happy has over 20 years of technical experience w.r.t security related systems installations and is one of Memeza’s best trainers when it comes to transferring his skills to community based youth.
Angel Maswanganyi
Project Coordinator
Angel has over 10 years’ experience in customer service and 3 years experience in youth and Enterprise development programmes.
Working in diverse set ups has strengthened Angel’s tolerance, patience, assertiveness and confidence.
Various exposures to different fields of work and different types of people and cultures has further taught her the capacity to learn quickly, adapt to changes and use newfound knowledge concisely and accurately with an understanding of various business principles.
